Abstract

Abstract:Objective To explore the relationship of two kinds of notch signaling pathway ligand DIL-4 and Jagged-1 with chronic hepatitis C. Methods The fasting of anticoagulant fresh blood of patients with chronic hepatitis C and healthy control were collected. The separation of mononuclear cells, extraction of RNA and reverse transcription for cDNA were carried out and DIL-4 and Jagged-1 were determined by real-time quantitative RT-PCR. Results The DIL-4 and Jagged-1 levels in patients with chronic hepatitis C were significantly elevated than that of normal control (P < 0.05). Conclusion The Notch ligands in chronic hepatitis C increase significantly and the higher the transaminase, the higher the Notch ligands levels.
