Abstract

Abstract:Objective To explore the possible maternal factors in patients with repeated implantation of in vitro fertilization embryo failure (RIVF). Methods 70 patients of RIVF and 35 pre-pregnancy healthy people were involved in this study. at the serum levels of FSH and LH, uterine and ovarian volume, antral follicle count (AFC) on the third day of menstrual cycle, and endometrial thickness, typing, dominant follicles’ number, pulsatility index(PI) and resistance index (RI) on ovulatory phase in both groups were measured. Results RIF group can The serum levels of FSH, LH and FSH/ LH ratio in RIVF group were obviously increased, while the uterine and ovarian volume and AFC were decreased compared with controls (P<0.01) . The endometrial thickness and dominant follicles number in RIVF group were significantly decrease (P<0.01). The endometrial type A reduced markedly, while type B and type C significantly increased. Both PI and RI of uterine spiral artery were increased obviously (P<0.01). Conclusion The lower ovarian response and descending endometrial receptivity might have positive correlation for the patients with repeated implantation of in vitro fertilization embryo failure .
