Abstract

Abstract: Hyperthyroidism in children is an important endocrine disease which seriously affects children's growth and development. The use of anti-thyroid drugs is the first-line therapy for the treatment of children with hyperthyroidism, however it still has difficult that recurrence and the side effects of drugs in clinical practice. The treatment of radioactive 131I and surgery often need left-handed thyroid hormone replacement therapy for postoperative, so the clinical application need to master indication strictly. This review focuses on the treatment of hyperthyroidism in children.
