Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of intrauterine device in the relapse prevention among the patients after endometrial polyp curettage. Method 80 patients after endometrial polyp curettage were divided into objective group and the control group. The intrauterine device was used in the objective group. The difference of hemoglobin level, menstruation degree, the distribution of intrauterine hormone receptor, endometrial thickness and the recurrence rate between the two groups was compared. Results The hemoglobin level in objective group was higher than that of control group. There was a significant development in the menstruation degree in the objective group. The distribution of intrauterine hormone receptor, endometrial thickness and the recurrence rate in objective group were lower than that in the control group. Conclusions It would get a satisfactory effect to use intrauterine device in the relapse prevention among the patients after endometrial polyp curettage, with better clinical effect and less recurrence events.
