Abstract

Abstract: Objective To establish immune chromatography to examine B streptococcus (GBS) and study the value for diagnosis of pregnancy women with GBS infection. Methods The microbe culture method and immune chromatography method were used to detected Group B streptococcus, and the sensitivity, specificity, and coincidence rate of immune chromatography method were determined. Results For immune chromatography method, the sensitivity, specificity, and coincidence rate were 100%, 96.3% and 96.8%. Conclusion Compared with the culture method, the novel immune chromatography method shows high consistency, and it is more convenient and sensitive and available for clinical laboratory.
