Abstract: Objective To explore the values of combined detection of serum levels of NSE, SCC, CYFRA21-1 and CEA in the diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods The serum levels of SCC, NSE, CYFRA21-1 and CEA in patients with lung cancer were detected by electrochemical luminescence assay and the results were analyzed statistically. Results The serum levels of NSE, SCC, CYFRA21-1 and CEA in patients with lung cancer group were significantly higher than those in control group and in lung benign disease group (P < 0.05). There were significantly differences on the serum levels of four markers between different pathological types of lung cancer (P < 0.05). The detection sensitivity of combined detection of four markers was obviously higher than that of any single tumor markers. Conclusion The combined detection of serum levels of NSE, SCC, CYFRA21-1 and CEA would be helpful in the early diagnosis of lung cancer.
