Abstract

Abstract: Objective To reasonably optimize the post setting of emergency biochemical group and reduce the delay rate of emergency biochemical applications. Methods “Smile circle”-quality control circle of PLA General Hospital clinical biochemistry department was established for retrospectively investigating emergency biochemical specimen’s TAT. The main reason for 2 hours detection of less than 100% in time rate was analyzed. Results: The reasons of untimely detection were as follows: the specimen detection was centralized; specimen check was delay; the speed of affirming report was slow; post responsibility of night shift had not been standardized. After improvement, the delay rate of emergency biochemistry specimen detection has reduced 12.02% and two day’s rate in time were above 95% which got the goal of hospital service guide. Conclusion The management’s method based on quality control circle has reduced the delay rate of emergency biochemical application significantly.
