Abstract

Abstract:ObjectiveTodetecttheserum levelsofCreactiveprotein(CRP)andprocalcitonin(PCT)inpatientswithpulmonaryinfection,andtoprovidethebasisfortheclinicaldifferentialdiagnosisofpulmonaryinfectionsources.MethodsAccordingtoinfectiontypesin131casesofpatientswithpulmonaryinfection,patientsweredividedintoG+ bacteriainfectiongroup(61cases),Gbacteriainfectiongroup(52cases),andfungalinfectiongroup(18cases).TheserumlevelsofCRPandPCTinpatientsand78healthcontrolsweredetected.ResultsTheserum CRPlevelsinG+bacteriainfectiongroupandGbacteriainfectiongroupwerehigherthanthatofcontrolgroup(P<0.01).TheserumPCTlevelsinG+ bacteriainfectiongroup,Gbacteriainfectiongroupandfungalinfectionwerehigherthanthatofcontrolgroup(P<0.01).ThereweresignificantlydifferenceontheserumlevelsbetweenG-bacteriainfectiongroupandG+ bacteriainfectiongroup(P<0.01).ConclusionThedetectionofserumlevelsofCRPandPCThasimportantguidancevalueindifferentialdiagnosisofpulmonaryinfection
