Abstract

Objective To evaluate the sensitivity and specificity of respiratory tract syncytial virus ( RSV) fluorescent nanoparticles rapid detection test strip and other detection performance. Methods The specimen including RSV , other respiratory pathogens and 280 cases of patients with symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection were used as samples. The RSV fluorescent nanoparticles rapid detection test strip and colloidal gold rapid detection test strips were used to detect the same samples. Results The sensitivity of fluorescent nanoparticles rapid detection test strip were higher than colloidal gold rapid test strip, and there were no specific reaction with influenza A virus, influenza B virus, parainfluenza virus, respiratory adenovirus and mycoplasma pneumoniae. Conclusion The detection performance of RSV fluorescent nanoparticles rapid detection test strips are better than colloidal gold rapid detection test strip.
